We are now officially into the post-launch content patch season of Tarisland. Even as the MMORPG has initially unimpressed our staff, Tencent is pushing forward with new additions and updates as the game’s life moves into its first week.

Today sees the first boss of its 10-player raid open, pitting teams against the Merfolk King. The studio also recently entered into promotional partnerships, offering trials to paid services intended to reduce lag and smoothen the experience on Mac.

Tomorrow will also see a fresh update patch, which will introduce the limited-time Trial Ground of Destiny, add some new cosmetics, and fix bugs related to things like ranged skills passing through arena pillars, missing information on how to find inscribed stones, and a conflict related to Thumbelina and the Wind Field affix. Tencent is also promising additional updates to class balance, reward prompts, and keyboard settings.
