We’re once again checking in on Path of Exile and its newly released Settlers of Kalguur update, which appears to have moved away from multiple hotfixing to a more dedicated update patch that focuses on tuning mechanics for the new league as well as some overall adjustments.

Updates to Kalguur are the usual levels of deep granularity, with a wide assortment of UI updates for shipment and currency management, an increase in toughness for Verisium monsters, lowered movement speed for bismuth tornadoes, and increased gold pickup range even when using teleporting skills like Flicker Strike. The patch also brings changes to the Divination Scarab of Plenty, Wildwood ritual monsters, and bestiary orb use, on top of a long list of bug fixes.

Speaking of Kalguur’s launch, the live update tracker notes the past several days’ worth of hotfixes and bug squashing that Grinding Gear Games has put out, while its first launch weekend saw player numbers on Steam repeatedly get just past the 200K mark.
