Lord of the Rings Online’s southward expansion aims to continue into the deserts of Harad next month when Legacy of Morgoth releases. Standing Stone Games posted the details and pre-order page for LOTRO’s 10th mainline expansion, allowing players to unlock pre-order items to use in the game right now.

The studio described this four-zone, 350-quest pack, saying, “Venture into the untamed wilds of Near Harad, where ancient secrets lurk beneath sun-scorched sands and treacherous marshlands! Feel the thrill of discovery as you race against time, deciphering cryptic maps and forging unlikely alliances. In this land of hidden perils and breathtaking vistas, your choices will shape the fate of Middle-earth. With courage as your compass, pursue cunning traitors through scorching deserts, petrified forests, and wind-carved canyons.”

Legacy of Morgoth is estimated to launch on November 6th with the raid content “no later than February 2025.” The standard edition is $40, with a more expensive collector’s edition ($80) and ultimate fan bundle ($130) offering extra bonuses and goodies.
