Echo of Soul exits beta, launches first raid

Confused over Echo of Soul’s nebulous launch status? Fortunately, it’s going to be a lot more clear-cut going forward, as the fantasy MMO has left its non-wipe state open beta to officially release as of the beginning of this month.

The launch comes right around a major content patch for Echo of Soul that adds in two additional dungeons and its first raid. The new 10-player raid pits a team against a giant Dryad and comes with a practice mode if you’re looking to learn the ropes. There’s also a raid finder and two difficulty levels for even more options.

The content update also contains a “replay” feature that allows players to record, edit, and upload videos from the game client. You can check out the Echo of Soul raid trailer after the break!

Valkyrie Noel Btw right, it also has own DPS meter, that is cool. Overall EOS is not bad, it is just not good enough (

I know this comment might not get much love or any due to Massively OP audience being fairly western involved more than eastern in the MMO scene but I have really been enjoying playing EOS with my S/O recently. The game is fairly well crafted and has lots of add-on built into the game which most games take forever releasing like damage meters, quick match making, pvp scaling, dual specs and a fairly good themepark progression. Overall I have been impressed by it and I am looking forward to getting into the raid later.

I’m scared to try this again. I love generic asian F2P mmos but god damn this was GEEEE-NNNEEEERR-RRRIC. I kept falling asleep. The concept works for me but dont know if what they have will be able to execute.  I’ll keep one eye on it.

NemuiByakko just sucks that such a cool feature is in such a bad game. Id love this in other mmos.

NemuiByakko This feature blows me away, too.  Odd that something so seemingly unique is a feature of a game that’s otherwise so paint-by-numbers.

Jemmyt Dystopiq at least Aura Kingdom has many interesting, un-usual  and original things, and its visuals, mounts, pets and costumes are often very good. In fact, if not for Aeria it could be much more popular (

EoS is boring etc, but this replay feature!!! Not just record and replay, but be able to rotate camera and even switch to other patry members! Cool! Never heard about any other game having it, and it dhould be “must have” IMHO.

Dystopiq Echo Of Soul is popular because it’s new and is edited by AeriaGames. Give it few months and it will join Aura Kingdom (previous “new popular thing” from AeriaGames).

It boggles my mind this game is super popular in the East. I played the beta for a good bit and it was just not up to my standards. It makes TERA look like GOTY.
