Activision-Blizzard and NCsoft both posted financial results this week, sending MMORPG communities into their usual rounds of speculation and admonition. Blizzard claimed nonspecific “growth” for World of Warcraft, while NCsoft saw end-of-the-year bumps for Guild Wars 2 and WildStar that didn’t quite meet everyone’s hopes and dreams.
