Following the Ascension expansion — and the free-to-play conversion that seems to have been a success for getting warm bodies back into EVE OnlineCCP has outlined just what it’s doing to further improve the new player experience in the sci-fi sandbox.

Today’s patch, for example, rolls out the newbie experience for everyone. That means that even if you’re on an old account, you can still go back and play it, or just skip it entirely. The team has also expanded the list of systems Inception players can head to, tweaked the UI, and doubled the skill point limit for mini skill injectors (from 750K to 1.5M).

Moving forward to “Inception 1.5,” CCP plans to take another look at NPC bounty rewards, provide help on skill training and ship fitting, introduce multi-target combat during the tutorials, and improve the flow for multiple chunks of gameplay.
