The city of lights will soon be lit up in an entirely different sense as Overwatch players take to the streets of the new Paris map, which is now live on the game’s PTR. The new map is an assault map that features “narrow streets and corridors” winding between locations such as the Cabaret Luna and a variety of shops into which players can duck for cover, all within view of the lovely river Seine.
Aside from the new map, the latest PTR patch also introduced some changes to the priority in which health, shields, and armor are consumed when a hero takes damage. Previously, non-recoverable shields were consumed first, followed by recoverable shields, non-recoverable armor, recoverable armor, non-recoverable health, and recoverable health. Now, non-recoverable shields, armor, and health will be consumed first, followed by recoverable shields, armor, and health. For the full details on this change — and the myriad bug fixes that also accompanied the latest update — check out the patch notes over at the game’s official forum.
