The faction war is supposedly more urgent than it’s ever been in World of Warcraft. We say “supposedly” because, well, it’s hard to believe that things are really that urgent when both factions are taking the time away from slaughtering one another in order to ride a roller coaster together. That’s the big new centerpiece for the Darkmoon Faire’s return this month, yes. It’s a big roller coaster, along with new severed fish heads and all of the usual buffs and enjoyment that comes with the event.
There’s a fine guide to the new events and carnival games you can partake in on Wowhead, complete with a rundown of rewards and some suggestions about how to use reputation buffs to help unlock the new allied races. (If you needed the suggestions.) Even if you already have your allies unlocked, of course, you can still enjoy the simple pleasure of riding a roller coaster. Who doesn’t like a roller coaster? Possibly of love.
