Leaderboard: Do you plan to play on a City of Heroes rogue server?

I don’t know whether people have guessed by now, but a lot of the City of Heroes screenshots we use here on Massively OP are my old stash from way back in the day, mostly with my guildies’ butts showing through the haze of glorious particle effects (I played a lot of Storm and Sonic Res toons!). I loved this game you guys. It was a top two or three MMO for me for a long time, and it became my last refuge after Star Wars Galaxies was sunsetted at the end of 2011. And then… well you know how 2012 went down.

So I am bubbling over with excitement here – I even got my kids into Paragon Chat (the non-combat/legal emu) so they could get acclimated this weekend. I got MIDs all set up and started mapping out character concepts. My oldest kid was one year old when this game went down, and now he’s as excited as I am at the prospect that we might together get to go, hunt, and kill skuls. He made a Bots Mastermind to fly around Paragon Chat. It’s intoxicating.

But as for the rogue servers themselves, I’m personally waiting to see what NCsoft will do next. I want to play, you bet, but more importantly, I want to talk about playing, to share it with everyone, with the thousands upon thousands of people who signed up for this. I don’t really want to game in the shadows.
