Fortnite’s next big thing has arrived along with the 9.00 patch. “The volcano has erupted and forever changed some long lasting locations – from the ashes, Neo Tilted rises,” Epic Games says. “Grab the squad to explore the bright lights of new attractions like Peely’s Banana Stand and Nugget Hut. Catch a ride and quickly traverse areas by flying in and out of the new Slipstream wind transportation system. Use the new Air Vents to quickly navigate from building to building. Take a glide over to the new Mega Mall to do some shopping before the storm hits.”
The patch itself appears to include chiefly bug fixes, UI tweaks, and minor quality-of-life upgrades, though Creative Mode has gotten some boons in the form of the Neo Tilted construction sets, creature stat customization, and a new island. PvE-centric Save the World (poor ol’ Save the World) sees the rollout of Wargames, which are basically a special type of mission simulation content for all biomes.
Incidentally, it sounds as if the game is expanding once again, as Epic also announced Arabic language localization. I’m gonna embed the announcement tweet, but I can’t actually recommend anybody click on it to read the replies because, you know, the internet. Though the folks asking for middle-east servers kinda have a point.
We’re excited to announce that we will be supporting the Arabic language throughout Fortnite: https://t.co/0C4v1qqj96
