Back in June and August, CCP Games revealed its next big thing for the EVE universe: a new mobile MMO dubbed EVE Online: Infinite Galaxy (aka Project Galaxy), built in conjunction with NetEase as part of CCP’s big push into Asia. NetEase, you’ll recall, is also partnered with CCP on the Chinese version of EVE Online itself. Launch for the mobile title is expected on iOS later this year.
As MMO Culture writes, the companies have released a new trailer for the game as part of NetEase’s recent product showcase event. “According to official news by NetEase, the foundations of the planetary system, stars, solar system, and space station are now ready,” MMO Culture explains, as the studios build out co-op and optimization. It looks… really pretty. And not just for a mobile game. Check it out below.
my question is will this be coming to the west or is this a CN only release
Well, maybe this is the one not even CCP can screw it up.
What ever happened to the cartoony mobile EVE spinoff?
This … is a PC port… to mobile.
Can you imagine the levels of microtransactions this thing will have? I can’t wait to see the outrage. This is one to keep your eye on. :D
Launches on iOS later this year…no Android release? :(
Google Play isn’t available in China because China does what China does. That’s probably why they aren’t releasing it. Add to that the very recent development that Android will no longer work with Huawei, the 2nd largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, and it seems likely that Android is more or less done in China.
Sadly that makes sense. Also sucks.
This could get an android release much in the way that fortnite did they just distribute the APK and u sideload it into ur phone
It would have to exist first
