If you were figuring Legends of Aria was giving up last year roundabout the time it had those launch delays and see-sawing PvP do-overs, you might want to give it another look. Citadel Studios has just announced new DLC for the game dubbed Dark Sorcery. Launching later in March for $19.99, Dark Sorcery is promising a spooky temple dungeon called The Monolith, a new race of enemies, and two new sorcery skills (sounds like summoning and dark arts). Preorders come with a special fox mount too.
“This is something we’ve been working on since before the Steam launch in August,” Citadel’s Derek Brinkmann says. “Our first priority is to make sure we deliver timely updates to the game that march us ever closer to leaving Early Access. That is why this DLC has been so long in the making. We wanted to make sure that it landed in between regular Point Releases and did not disrupt that schedule. (We also wanted to make sure it kicked ass).” He also promises that the team will be carving out its path out of early access too.
They’ve even got a video. Damn, there are AAA games that don’t even have videos for their DLC nowadays. Nice work, Citadel.
