Camelot Unchained held a mid-April livestream to share some of its latest progress with backers and fans. Specifically, Mark Jacobs, who broadcast live from his home as the studio members are working from home for the time being.

In the video, Jacobs talks about a new island RvR scenario as well as the Devout classes that are currently in testing for IT-level backers. Jacobs hopes to make this new test build available for alpha backers as soon as possible — possibly as soon as this weekend. This island scenario, readers will recall, is part of CU’s “90-day plan” revealed during a February livestream.

Jacobs also took a moment to confirm the team’s commitment to its BSC goals, admitting that he’s stubbornly making sure that features are delivered and the title isn’t soft-launched. There’s also a point in the video where he answers a question about taking money from investors who want to change the direction of Camelot Unchained, and a point where he discusses community saltiness stemming from the reveal of Final Stand: Regnarok; in response to that question, Jacobs invites people to come and test CU and see the progress being made.
