I remember back when World of Warcraft was just plain vanilla and there was plenty of time to observe things during the countless fights. I remember looking at the same two attack animations being played out over and over again and thinking, “It’d be really cool if they added more animations in future patches as a feature!”
While I don’t think this ever came to be, I’ve been interested in quality-looking weapon animations that didn’t come off as someone swooshing a nerf bat through empty space while damage numbers magically appeared over an enemy’s head.
