The Daily Grind: Do you still want to play an EverQuest III?

Earlier this winter, Daybreak dropped a ton of details about what to expect from EverQuest and EverQuest II over the course of 2022. What it has yet to do is offer any information about the long-rumored EverQuest III. But that’s not too unusual; we don’t have much information about the new Marvel MMO, either – and that one’s been confirmed in financial reports. An EverQuest threequel hasn’t gotten that far, unless you’re counting EverQuest Next and Landmark, which are long gone now.

So that makes me wonder – do you even still want an EverQuest III? Or would you rather have a version of EQ Next or Landmark brought back from the dead, more like the treatment given to the Marvel MMO?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
