I vant you to keel tunnel moose.

If your metric for daily excitement is based on how much new content you have to go through in online Final Fantasy games, you live a somewhat odd life, but you’re still living your truth. And hey, you’re eating well today! Final Fantasy XI has a new January version update out today, and lest you forget, this is a game that has supposedly been in maintenance mode for several years now. So getting a new installment of the ongoing Voracious Resurgence storyline is a good thing all around.

Of course, you’ll need to be ready to take on the challenges contained therein; the next quest requires at least a stage 2 Prime Weapon and access to Dynamis – Xarcabard, so you may have some prep work to do ahead of time. The new monthly rotation of Ambuscade content will also require some work to access everything, albeit just enough to get you through the battles. Still, new version update for the increasingly nonexistent maintenance mode; that’s a win all around.
