Momentum is gathering behind SMITE 2, Hi-Rez’s next entry in its hit MOBA franchise. One sign of this is the sale of Founder’s Editions, which went live on Monday and offer benefits for both SMITE and SMITE 2.
While SMITE 2 will be free-to-play at launch, players may elect to pay for one of the three Founder’s Editions to get a jump on rewards and testing. All three editions ($30, $60, and $100) include a full and forever unlock of all SMITE 2 gods as well as access to the upcoming closed alpha weekend tests in May.
“Pre-order up a SMITE 2 Founder’s Edition on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, or PlayStation starting on April 15th to guarantee game access for our closed alpha weekend test events this spring along with a ton of other in game loot including cross-gen skins in SMITE 1 and 2, avatars, badges and more,” Hi-Rez said. “Don’t forget, purchasing a Founder’s Edition will also double your legacy gems in SMITE 2!”
