If you aren’t being distracted by Retail’s Pandaria Remix, perhaps you’ll take a further step back with next week’s launch of Cataclysm in WoW Classic. Blizzard posted a loose schedule of how it’s going to roll out the MMO’s third expansion on these progression servers and what first-timers might expect to find with its zones and dungeons.

Cataclysm Classic officially launches next Monday, May 20th, at 6:00 p.m. eastern. However, the expansion’s first PvP season won’t begin until May 28th, followed by three Cataclysm raids (The Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Descent, and Throne of the Four Winds) on May 30th.

The expansion includes seven new zones between the two starter experiences and five high-level regions as well as nine dungeons to conquer.

“Each zone offers a unique slice of the world’s story and presents players with new quests, dungeons, and raids. As adventurers traverse these lands, they’ll witness the aftermath of Deathwing’s destruction and join forces with Azeroth’s defenders to restore balance,” Blizzard said.
