Blizzard’s mobile battler Warcraft Rumble released its first content preview this week that highlighted this summer’s upcoming features. On May 29th, Season 6 debuts along with a new game mode called Sieges.
Sieges are “bite-sized, three-mission co-op adventures will see you and a guildmate lay siege to the legendary cities of Warcraft, with some mighty new rewards on the line.” The first of these takes place in Stormwind.
Following that is Warcraft Rumble’s first raid — Molten Core — on June 5th, followed by Season 7 and the Cenarion family of minis on July 10th. This druidic assortment of fighters include two leaders and three troops.

Activision-Blizzard is considered a controversial gaming company owing to a long string of scandals going back to 2019, including the Blitzchung boycott, mass layoffs, sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits, executive misconduct, unionbusting, and shockingly disastrous mismanagement. In 2023, the company was formally acquired by Microsoft; in 2024 so far, it’s laid off 800 workers and misled gamers about WoW subs even as it attempts to reinvent its MMOs.
