Black Desert revamps quests on PC, unites gathering tools on console, and increases rewards on mobile

That’s right, Black Desert has once again got a bundle of new things for players across all of its platforms, and it looks as if this time around, these additions aren’t what we would call meager. So let’s dive right in.

We start as always on PC, which has revamped the Serendia and Calpheon quest lines into what is called The Jordine Saga. This revamped quest series sees players following Jarette Domongatt through a story of political intrigue and clashing interests that weave through Serendia and into Calpheon. This new narrative is available from the Black Spirit after completing the main adventure in Balenos.

On top of the quest revamp, the new PC patch helps players get to their PEN V Blackstar weapons a bit easier to prepare for the upcoming new Sovereign weapons, applies some class changes, and makes a few other adjustments to items, quests, monster zones, and boss rewards.

As for BDO Console, those players can now enjoy family integration of gathering and fishing tools, plus some changes to the Black Spirit Absorption skill, proliferation of guild member actions, and additional ways to earn rewards and materials; it’s basically pretty similar to the PC patch from earlier, just now for console players.

Speaking of rewards, BDO Mobile has ramped those up in its latest patch, increasing the goodies earned from Black Spirit and Hadum Black Spirit quests, Fairy Wish completion, daily login, and daily and weekly tasks. The patch also adds the three-player Randomess Skirmish and makes some improvements to node wars including an increase to the number of guilds that can participate and specific UI updates.
