It’s almost time to smash bugs and smash leaderboards in Diablo II: Resurrected. Well, mostly that second one, anyway; you’re not responsible for smashing bugs, especially since that’s Blizzard’s job. So really you’re stepping on the smashed pulp of bugs on your way to smashing leaderboards when the OARPG’s update goes live on Tuesday, August 20th.

Multiple fixes will land with this update, including improvements to player reporting, skill-specific fixes, the end of missile desync, and fixes for some UI weirdness, among others. The patch will also bring Ladders Season 8, which will officially start on Friday, August 23rd, with all of the expected modes and stash item shuffling that regular players are likely familiar with. Fans should know the drill by now, but here are the patch notes all the same.
