Black Desert Mobile launches the pre-season of its new guild vs guild survival arena mode

It’s time for guild members in Black Desert Mobile to be dropped into an arena and told to survive. The Azunak Arena mode is now available in the mobile MMO with the start of its first pre-season.

The Azunak Arena is a competitive PvPvE mode where 10 teams of three guild members each face off against each other. Characters all start at level one with matched stats, then increase their power by slaying monsters and earning XP. As the match wears on, teams will start facing one another and also see powerful field bosses that can grant unique abilities when slain, then matches end with a spacetime distortion that draws surviving players into one final enclosed area to brawl it out. The mode opens twice a week and matches last for 10 minutes.

Naturally there are rewards to earn for joining in the Azunak Arena in the form of ranking points, which in turn determines whether participants earn monthly goodies like XP scrolls and chaos crystals, though there are smaller-tail daily and weekly rewards that players can earn as well.

The new mode is the headline feature of this week’s update, which also includes several schedule shifts for various content features, the addition of the Drieghan region to family dispatch, and a host of other general fixes.
