It’s two nerdy great tastes that taste great together: DC Universe Online is getting in on the ongoing Year of the Dragon celebrations being held by Dungeons and Dragons Online and the wider 50th anniversary of the D&D IP with a bunch of thematic freebies for players to collect.
Between now and September 9th, players can earn a pair of cosmetic archdragon horns by simply logging in, then nab a pair of archdragon wings and a dragon companion accessory in exchange for Bizarro Samples. In addition to these D&D goodies, there are now bonus rewards on offer for Bizarro Samples like an oracle drone bot for personal bases or leagues and a device to summon some mutants into battle.
The vendor goodies will be a permanent fixture, but the horns are time-limited, as is a boost of double Bizarro Sample drops, so make sure to get in-game sometime soon if you want some dragon fancy.
