If you read through MJ’s preview of the Age of Heroes update coming to Conan Exiles and started getting eager to test how its settlements would get new life breathed into them, you’re going to have to hold your horses for a second time: Following an earlier delay of public testing from August 22nd to August 29th, Funcom has announced that there’s yet another delay to the test.
Public testing for Age of Heroes is now scheduled for Thursday, September 5th, as a result of the studio finding “blocking issues” with the build. Funcom appears to be slightly non-committal to this new testing date, as it notes its “hope that these issues will be resolved in time to improve everyone’s experience during the beta testing.”
Reading further between the lines, the announcement also points out that the length of the public test will not be shortened to accommodate this new release target, which would suggest that the entire Age of Heroes update will also be delayed beyond its earlier projected October launch. Basically we’re suggesting to eager fans of this survivalbox to maybe wait and see where the dust settles before getting to amped up to try this one out.
Greetings Exiles,
We've decided to push back the Public Beta for Age of Heroes to September 5th. We're going to take a little more time to work through a few things.
