The race definitely is on for Corepunk to make its deadline for a November 26th early access launch. After a couple of unexpected wipes to its Alpha 4 test, Artificial Core said that it is delaying a planned future wipe by a couple weeks to allow players more time in high-level content so that feedback on vital systems could be generated.
The studio posted a new blog explaining what it was doing to shore up several systems and features of the upcoming MMO.
Some of these projects include improving server stability, making combat more responsive, beefing up quests, polishing the open world, prepping an open world dungeon called the Steppes, balancing itemization, upgrading talents, making a full loot PvP island, creating PvE dungeons, and adding two battlegrounds.
“By early access, all systems will function as intended, in synergy with Corepunk’s design philosophy focused on depth, versatility, and replayability,” Artificial Core said. “We aim to deliver an excellent game where many players can find an activity they enjoy, and when they tire of one, they can move on to another. Each player experiences the game as they see fit, with their own goals and endgame, unified into a single ecosystem.”
