KingsIsle is continuing to expand Wizard101 with this week’s release: It’s pushing the Wallaru update from just the North American servers to the MMO’s global servers too. Aussie fans are in for a treat as yes, this is an Australian-inspired content patch first introduced to players last fall.

“Hope and fear collide in Wallaru, a diverse world as expansive and untamable as the mysterious Dreaming at its heart,” the studio says. “From the Eucalyptus Forest to the Wobbegong Territory, this enigmatic land is home to koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats. You must explore the wilds and restore the precarious balance between rival local factions. The fourth and final world of Wizard101’s fourth story arc, Wallaru is based on Australia at the turn of the 20th century. The Wizard has met a scholar from Wallaru, and now they’ll finally travel to the land of the Outback, where inspiration awaits those who can become one with The Dreaming.”

The update further includes the new guild museum, new spells, five new Beastmoon forms (Fire Fairy, Myth Krokomummy, Life Rat Thief, Balance Elf, and Death Colossus), and PvP tweaks. Patch notes are up so you can dig in down under!
