Regular players of the original multiplayer-optional OARPG will likely be pleased to know that the upcoming Titan Quest 2 will once again let players combine a pair of masteries in order to form their own class. That said, there is still some details on how this will all work when the game goes into early access at some point soonâ„¢, which is what developer Grimlore Games is discussing in its latest dev blog.
The initial build of the game will launch with three different masteries: earth, storm, and warfare, all three of which will be unlocked early in the game’s campaign. From there, players can select 10 skills into their ability bar to craft a promised wide assortment of synergies, whether that looks like a focus on a primary damage skill with several support abilities or a variety of damage abilities.
The preview post then offers a broad synopsis of these three masteries and what they offer, alongside a preview of a specific ability and modifiers for each one. The studio is promising to add more masteries as development moves on, but there are video peeks to check out below along with lots of promise in the post itself. About the only thing missing is a launch window for early access; that still hasn’t been tied down yet.
