“The living roadmap” sounds like it’s almost but not quite something that’s been put together by Jack Kirby if you ignore certain basic facts (like Kirby being very dead and never having worked in game development). But in this case it’s really about Temtem Swarm’s ongoing development, with the “living” part being mostly about the fact that it can be added to and removed and you can’t get mad if the roadmap changes.
Like, you can just change a roadmap for a game anyway without calling it “living”; there are no laws about that. We checked. Just like you can pivot from a Kickstarted critter-collecting MMORPG to a bullet-heaven co-op game!
Anyhow, players of said bullet-heaven co-op game can look forward to two new playable Temtems with the game’s next update, along with a new map and new swarm behaviors. Looking further into the future, four more playable Temtems are also planned, along with three new maps, challenge modes, and the Tempedia. If you’ve been enjoying the swarmy game up to now, check out what’s planned in broad strokes for the future.
