Ship of Heroes spent its fall working on everything from difficulty sliders to an auction hall

Crowdfunded superhero MMORPG Ship of Heroes is still trucking along in development, I’m happy to report today, and the latest bits are recapped in Heroic Games’ October/November dev blog.

“In the last two months, we have implemented quite a few changes to improve the player’s experience,” the studio says. “Some are fun additions; others are Quality of Life improvements.” The list includes a new resurrection platform near the hospital, the auction house, difficulty sliders from -2 to +3, map markers in raids, enemy animation upgrades, and raid performance.

“We have been working on raids and using this experience to stress the servers and communications between server and client. We are making successive, incremental changes to improve performance and reduce lag when playing with many characters and NPCs. Our objective is to enable as many players as possible to have a positive experience in our raid.”

A tutorial mission is also “approaching completion,” plus the team says that it’ll soon be testing the Berserker Invasion; players can sign up for the NDA test on the official site.
