LOTRO promises more details about upcoming 64-bit servers in January

As Standing Stone Games’ dev team spins down for the holidays, one final 2024 LOTRO stream came out of the studio last week tidying up the news and events in the virtual Middle-earth.

Of key concern was the reaction to the recent roadmap and the confusion over the upcoming new 64-bit servers. SSG said that its next livestream on January 10th would go into more detail about this and other topics with Executive Producer Rob Ciccolini. The studio also confirmed that multi-factor verification is still in the works, as is the High Elf avatar update for some point in 2025.
