The year went quickly, but yes, Dune Awakening is officially one year old on PC as of today, having launched in June of 2025. Naturally, Funcom is marking the occasion with gratitude and goodies.
“To celebrate this milestone together, we are marking the one-year anniversary of Dune: Awakening with a limited-time event featuring free rewards, progression boosts, and community-focused fun,” the studio announced this morning. “The event runs from June 10th to July 10th, 2026, aligning with the game’s original launch anniversary and overlapping with the Steam Summer Sale (June 25th–July 9th). Over the course of four weeks, players can unlock a series of cosmetic rewards while benefiting from multiple Progression Boost Weekends.”
It looks like each week, you’ll be able to collect more pieces of a tea house collection that would be right at home inside The Sims 4. That’s not a complaint, mind you.
Week 2: Tea house seating, including a sofa and chair
Week 3: Table and tea set furnishings
Week 4: Final decorative elements, including a mural and baliset
The boosts themselves change every week through July 6th, too:
June 19–22: Double House Scrip rewards
June 26–29: Double Specialization XP
July 3–6: Double Landsraad Dungeon loot
In other Funcom news – though Funcom news splashed with Inflexion now, we supposed – Conan Exiles has released its June 1.2.0 update, which further enhanced the Conan Exiles Enhanced release from a month ago. Notably, the team has sorted out mod incompatibility problems, fixed non-spawning NPCs, fixed some invisible items, made it easier to move items into chests, and “[i]mproved server performance when loading and spawning placed decorations from the database – fewer hitches entering areas with heavily decorated bases.”
