Another version update has landed in Final Fantasy XI, but this one is actually relatively small. Yes, surprisingly enough, it’s almost just a regular maintenance update, with new Ambuscade content and a few quality-of-life improvements. However, the new month also means that there are new things for players to buy when the next login campaign starts on June 12th, with the centerpiece item being a new Lion statuette to decorate your Mog House.
Other items for the login campaign include the Poroggo Coat, the Crab Cap, and the usual assortment of Skirmish and Reforged Relic Armor items. So you might not quite have the full slate of never-before-seen content to dive into this month, but you ought to still have good reasons to jump in and spend some time in the game through June. (Assuming you’re not distracted by some other game in the franchise, anyway.)
