Roar and such.

Have you too long been denied the ability to hunt the Behemoth because you’d rather play Monster Hunter World on PC? Don’t worry, that’s ending shortly, as the game’s Final Fantasy XIV crossover event is arriving with a patch on December 21st. Players can hunt the great Behemoth, dress up their palicos as moogles, and suit up in traditional Dragoon armor to hunt other beasts throughout the world.

If you want to keep the FFXIV tradition arrive you’ll want to make sure to stand in bad places and die whilst wearing that armor, but it’s hardly necessary.

The hunt in question, while a special hunt, will be available indefinitely, so you have plenty of time to slash your way through the enormous purple creature. Of course, the flip side of the crossover has been available in Final Fantasy XIV for quite some time now, but now everyone can share in the joy of the hunt no matter their preferred platforms.
