EVE Online brings out its Halloween horrors for the spooky season

It’s time for EVE Online to get spooky. You may wonder how scary a game can really make itself when being blown up for no reason is a thing that can happen normally year-round, but that’s part of why one of the big seasonal events is a PvP event kicking off on October 29th that promises to be spooky as heck. We assume that all ships will now be firing skeletons instead of lasers; that would be pretty spooky.

If you’re not really into PvP (but are still playing EVE), you’ll still get something from the season, as every login to the game between October 28th and November 3rd will get you a free treat ranging from ship skins to skill points. There are also balance changes to make combat interceptors more dangerous and damaging, meaning that you will have to be much more aware that the wardec is coming from inside the planetary system. Or you could be the spooky roaming killer yourself; it makes sense.
