Destiny 2’s Season of Dawn brings new activities, Exotics, and the return of Saint-14

A new season is coming to Destiny 2, and it’s getting into that most wobbly of narrative devices: time manipulation. Well, even more time manipulation; the Black Garden and Infinite Forest certainly did a bit of it, and the Vex’s whole deal is mucking with time. Anyway, this is a long way of saying that there will be some new time traveling narrative stuff that ultimately brings back the long-dead Titan Saint-14.

The Season of Dawn will task players with going to Mercury to stop Cabal Psion Flayers from manipulating time itself to undo their loss of the Red War. Doing so will involve The Sundial, a six-player activity that sees players defending the structure from the Cabal. The storyline will also involve the return of the aforementioned Exo Titan and introduce Timelost weapon frames to complete, all of which will be open to season pass owners. For everyone else, there’s a new seasonal artifact to upgrade, and there’s naturally another round of season pass rewards to earn for both season pass owners and regular Destiny 2 players.

It all launches this Tuesday, December 10th. You can say hello to Saint-14 and all of the other pretty shiny things waiting for you in the trailer below.
