EverQuest players who felt a little green with envy at the news that EverQuest II was to be treated to a full-fledged expansion should be at peace today: Daybreak is prepping a new expansion for the classic MMO as well.
The unnamed and undated expansion will add new 105+ level areas, more missions, more heroic adventures, level-scaling missions, and over 15 new raids, including two additional “level agnostic” raid zones in the Planes of Fear and Hate. Daybreak will fully unveil the expansion and begin taking pre-orders for it on October 1st.
There’s a lot more coming to EverQuest than an expansion, however. The devs have a “hefty” update coming out on September 23rd, followed by the Nights of the Dead holiday which will run from October 28th through November 11th.
