Final Fantasy XI previews more Voracious Resurgence and Odyssey content coming in February

This is not a doll.

If you thought that after the last round of content in Sheol: Gaol in Final Fantasy XI you weren’t being sufficiently challenged, the game’s February version update is almost here to help refute that assumption. While the last round of opponents were there to get players accustomed to how the content would work, the new batch is meant to be far more challenging for players to deal with and push your abilities further. Don’t assume this one is going to be a cakewalk.

The February update will also feature the third chapter of the Voracious Resurgence, bringing the action to San d’Oria and also bringing with it a slightly more comedic tone than prior installments. There are also the usual monthly changes to Ambuscade content and updates to the linkshell concierge service for players to make use of. In other words, it’s a pretty meaty patch for the game, which is probably more than a little familiar to players at this stage of the game’s lifespan.
