There are a lot of factors that are not doing World of Warcraft: Dragonflight any favors in the “player enthusiasm” category. It’s being brought out almost certainly well before it is ready, there are all the Blizzard scandals still to be considered, and let’s not forget that it’s having some trouble getting people fully on board with the idea of the expansion. There’s an enthusiasm problem, in other words. But it’s hardly universal. There are people who despite everything are already excited about the idea of tromping across the Dragon Isles, and there are those who are (despite their protestations) looking for something to draw them back all the same.
So today we ask a simple but deceptively complex question. If you aren’t excited about Dragonflight, what’s the sort of thing that you’re looking for that would get you to be all excited and ready to clock in to the game once again? And if you’re already on board and excited about the expansion, what is it that’s making you not just ready but eager to jump into the Dragon Isles when the expansion launches? No, not just “at least it won’t be Shadowlands any longer,” we’re looking for stuff within the actual expansion itself.
