Last year, we caught wind of a new MMO – and yes, Behaviour Interactive and Lunarch have indeed flagged it as an MMO on Steam – called Islands of Insight. It’s not your typical MMO, however, as it’s essentially an open-world shared puzzle game – and a gorgeous one at that. It’s officially launched on Steam as of today at a $29.99 price point – that’s a real launch, mind you, not early access.

“In this sublime shared-world puzzle game, you play as a Seeker on a peaceful journey of exploration,” the studios write. “Enjoy countless hours of gameplay as you seek out and solve over 10,000 puzzles at your own pace across 5 unique biomes. Packed with secrets to uncover and vibrant landscapes to explore, the puzzles you’ll encounter have been crafted by some of the best minds in puzzle design to create an engaging experience for both newcomers and seasoned puzzle fans.”

MOP’s Chris demoed the game back in December if you want some hands-on insight into how it plays; at the moment, player counts have only just crested 1000, prompting concerns about how the game will be serviced into the future.
