Ever wanted to live in the medieval ages but didn’t want to actually go through the effort of dressing up in period outfits and joining a Renaissance faire? We understand, and so do developer Render Cube and publisher Toplitz Productions, which brings us to Medieval Dynasty, a co-op survival sandbox that released on PC in fall 2021 and consoles in 2022, and its latest major update, which brings cross-platform play to all.

“From now on, players across all platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Game Pass, and GOG, can experience the Oxbow together.”

“The Oxbow” here references a new map that’s available for players to enjoy together, which promises new exciting quests and “a realm brimming with intriguing personalities, captivating sights, and delightful rural communities.” Another major update is the addition of a character creator that lets players better customize their avatar. There’s also a host of bug fixes and other general updates, which are outlined in the patch notes.
