EverQuest II’s Varsoon progression server will see extra expansions and content through May 2025

The problem with any progression server is that, sooner or later, the progression will hit a stopping point and that server will close. It’s just how these things operate. That inevitable end was coming soon for the Varsoon TLE server of EverQuest II, except Darkpaw Games has decided that Varsoon will progress quite a bit further this time around.

While Varsoon was set to lock up at the Destiny of Velious expansion, the studio has elected to release six more content updates, adding additional zones, the Chains of Eternity and Tears of Veeshan expansions, and as our tipster notes, the Channeler and Beastlord classes; content will arrive over the course of several months, ending with Veeshan’s arrival on May 6th, 2025.

“It’s now time to grab your snacks and drinks, put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, and get into the groove for some game time,” Darkpaw touts. Indeed, Varsoon will party on, Wayne for longer than any other TLE server to date.
