Between now and March 18th, players can get their hands on an Essence of Time Past weapon aura to give their favorite implements of MMO war a spiffing sparkly glow, while a long list of returning rewards from previous years is also on offer. There’s also a new achievement and 11 new decor items to mark the occasion as well. In case anyone needs a picture of Firiona on their in-game wall.
In other EQ2 news, the Gerion’s Reckoning update has now begun its open beta as promised, available for players to kick the tires between now and March 24th, while the MMORPG’s latest patch introduces several item updates, raid target adjustments, and targeted zone teaks in Origins servers. Meanwhile in EQ, this week’s patch features general fixes for classes, spells, and the UI, along with a few fixes.
