Indie fantasy MMO Misa Online shares eight minutes of pre-alpha gameplay

You may never have heard about Misa Online, a relatively new indie project on the scene, but pretty much think about it as if you were living in a Chicken Little world: The sky is falling, and that’s not a good thing.

“From the Age of Legends, remnants known as Portal Stones covered in mysterious, undeciphered symbols are now falling across the world,” said developer Misa Games. “But these are no mere ancient relics. Each impact tears open gateways to unknown realms. Through these portals, creatures emerge bringing not only themselves, but the laws, darkness, and chaos of their worlds. As time passes, the land begins to change, balance is shattered, and the world is dragged into an irreversible war. Survival is no longer a choice it is a necessity. Every new portal brings a new threat, a new challenge, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. Gather your strength, shape your destiny, and forge your legend against the rising darkness.”

Apparently eager to generate some western hype, the team has now released the first of its planned pre-alpha gameplay videos. This one highlights the game world, the action combat, and various gameplay mechanics. Again, we don’t have any dates for anything yet, but there are already preorder packs on sale through official site.
