The MOP Up: Perfect World’s co-CEOs tap out

GamesIndustry is reporting that the two co-CEOs of Perfect World have been replaced as CEOs but remain as directors: “Perfect World CEO Xiao Hong and co-CEO Lu Xiaoyin have reportedly stepped down from their roles. That’s according to Pocket Gamer, translating a company announcement and reports from Chinese media. The executives are reportedly being replaced by former senior VP Gu Liming as the company’s new CEO.”

DDO’s Update 68.1 came with a giveaway for VIP players: “For a limited time, all VIPs will be eligible to receive a 1000 Sentient XP Gem when Update 68.1 is released by speaking with a new VIP Reward Assistant named Rietz, a Dragonborn who is located next to Violet Peregrine in the west side of the Hall of Heroes. The 1000 Sentient XP Gem is Bound to Account. This item will be delivered to VIPs through August 27th, 2024, so make sure to log in and acquire the item before it is no longer delivered.”

EverQuest II’s July 23rd patch tweaked some itemization, fixed the Vaashkaani raid, and “updated triggered events (procs) to be based off of ‘old’ three-second normalization and display raw percentage for trigger chance.”

Wayfinder delivered a bug fix patch that, among other things, improved graphical performance: “Adjusting the texture quality to low or medium will now adjust the streaming pool sizes, resulting in better performance. This pool is uncapped when using high or ultra.”

And MU Online revamped its Grow Lancer class and added speed server events for even faster progression.
