Guild Wars 2’s Engineer has long been the master of long-ranged attacks, using rifles, turrets, grenades, pistols, and other gadgets to bring the pain to enemies. ArenaNet is going to shake up that paradigm with the class’ upcoming elite specialization, the Scrapper.
The Scrapper takes on the role of a tank by using a two-handed hammer in up-close-and-personal attacks. The specialization will receive additional traits, new skills, and little flying mechs to help in the fight. Some of the skills that the Scrapper can use in battle include rocket charge, shock shield, and thunderclap.
ArenaNet will be showing off the Scrapper in action in its Points of Interest livestream tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. Now that the Engineer’s elite spec is revealed, can the Druid’s be far behind?
