Ready to get your dinosaur survival antics on while playing from the comfort of your couch? ARK: Survival Evolved is making the console jump today, launching on Xbox One (complete with a trailer just below) with all of the content that is already available to users on the PC. The game is priced at $35 while being in its admitted testing state, with an expected full launch in June 2016.
Players with a second Xbox One can run console-based servers now, which is a positive development except for the part where you need to have a second Xbox One. If that’s not how you want your couch multiplayer to go, the good news is that it’s not eternal – split-screen co-op is coming to the game in a patch soon after the console launch. Or you can just go around and fight dinosaurs on your own; it’s all about finding your own bliss.
