Bringing together memes of yesteryear, deities of time immemorial, and e-sports of today is SMITE, which has finally pulled the trigger on Season Four. Yesterday, Patch 4.1 went live in the game, unleashing a torrent of new god skins, ranked leaderboards, emotes, changes, and revamps. Hi-Rez is handing out additional rewards for top performers of Season 3 and has started selling the new Season 4 spring tickets. It’s a seriously huge patch that deserves a careful reading of the full notes to properly comprehend.
“In Season 4, we are updating some of our core features of SMITE,” Hi-Rez said. “Ranked is receiving a revamp to its structure, T-Screen makes its return, and players who have Diamond Mastered gods will have new forms of progression available to them.”
