Path of Exile shares improvements being worked on for Delve upgrades

Light it up.
If the world takes only one lesson from Path of Exile, it should be the virtue of improving things steadily based on feedback. Players have only just begun adventuring in the game’s new Delve league, but there are already extensive plans by the development team on improvements. One of those improvements is sharing upgrades across all characters in the league on a given account, but that’s just the start of what’s in development.

Obviously, some work is on fixing bugs, like Azurite occasionally getting stuck in the walls or crawlers teleporting away incorrectly. But other improvements are focused on quality of life, like making light radius improvements more impactful, making dynamite universally able to destroy a fractured wall, and more clearly pointing out some easily missed features. Check out the full list of upcoming changes to get a sense of what’s coming in the near future to make deep dives even more rewarding.

A very good league, not only because of the Delve itself, but the many QoL changes and skill reworks and new skills (Herald of Purity, Smite, reworked Dominating Blow, and far more) are great too. I was worried how GGG will go after the buyout by Tencent, but it seems things are better than ever.

I usually got something to gripe about, but absolutely love this league. Massive QOL features/patches added to the game. Great delve system with unlimited PvE progression. Reduced RNG mechanics when it comes to mapping with Zana changes. Having tons of fun.

I’m hoping Blizzard’s devs are paying attention (who’m I kidding? They’re pretty much phoning it in now…) to the idea of leagues that come with different sets of rules, sort of rolling beta servers that ultimately fold back into the main game – it’s a brilliant concept that GGG has executed marvelously.
Importantly, it gives players a reason to level through content again, but with enough rule changes that game play can be markedly different.

Oh, and that advancement trees can be fascinating, complex, (nearly) remorseless, and that people find that fun.

Too much work. The again, I doubt Blizz would ever be satisfied releasing only one game.

Just came back to poe after maybe a year and half off. I suggest taking a year off of this every now and then – the improvements they make are always impressive.
