Just ahead of its first closed beta event tomorrow, Daybreak has released a new video walking through the experience of playing one of PlanetSide Arena’s maps, Echoes of Amerish. Players will be dropping in from the standard drop ship lobby above the map in their very own personal drop pod. The map itself is massive – 8 square km – but it’s been tweaked from the Amerish map of PlanetSide 2, complete with more verticality, better traversibility, more varied sub-biomes, and even a better skymap. Daybreak also points out some of the upgrades PlanetSide 2 is getting based on groundwork for PSA.
The battle royale title was originally supposed to hit early access today, but Daybreak delayed it until March 26th, citing the need to take extra time to optimize the game and boost its feature set. Watch the new video below!
