After the fourth or fifth million battle over the same tiny swath of farmland, the question of “is this truly worth the bloodshed?” comes to mind. Apparently not, because WoW Classic testers are frothing at the mouth as the Arathi Basin battleground arrived in the closed beta this week. Have fun storming the mine and making life hell for farmers, you noble adventurers!

Blizzard announced that it would be raising the level cap from 30 to 40 on the CBT servers this Thursday, June 6th while also closing down Warsong Gulch and bringing up Arathi Basin for “limited testing.” So just be aware that your favorite WoW Classic streamer is probably going to be zipping around Stranglethorn Vale, Desolace, and Arathi Highlands with the rest of the crowd.

Also, there’s this: “To further assist testing efforts, we will reduce the cost to respec closed beta characters. The new cost will be charged in silver instead of gold, a 99% reduction in cost, and will only be applied to the beta test.”
